31-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim Killed In Route 27 Crash
A 31-year-old Franklin Township resident was killed in a crash last week in Central Jersey. Kristen Drayton was identified as the driver of the southbound vehicle that had slammed into a tree on Route 27 near Reler Lane just after 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 in Franklin Township, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. An apartment with hoarding conditions caught fire in Toms River, officials said. Pleasant Plains volunteer firefighters responded to the fire at the North Pointe Hollow condominium complex at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 12, the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention said in a news release.
