A District man who terrorized his former partner for years will spend time in federal prison for stalking her and making threats, according to officials.
Eddie Tibbs, 34, was sentenced to 73 months in prison for stalking, felony threats, felony destruction of property, misdemeanor destruction of property, and a civil protection order violation following a harrowing ordeal involving his ex, federal authorities announced over the weekend.

Rockville Protestor Among 60 Arrested In I-676 Shutdown In Philadelphia: Police
More than 60 people have been arrested in connection with a protest that completely shutdown I-676 in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, March 30, authorities said.
The protestors were from the Party for Socialism and Liberation, and ran onto the highway at Broad Street around 4 p.m., causing disruptions to traffic flow, Philadelphia police said at the time.
On Sunday, March 31, Pennsylvania State Police released a list of towns and ages of those arrested, all who were charged with disorderly conduct.
