LEWISBORO, N.Y. – All schools in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District will reopen on Monday.
School officials said that some transportation and communication challenges still exist, and the district is communicating these directly to families through Connect-Ed, the automated home/school communications system used to send district messages to families and staff members.
“The district extends its deep appreciation to the governmental, school and utility representatives who have helped to put the district back on its feet,” Superintendent Paul Kreutzer said in a statement. “Please know that we will extend every courtesy to our families, students and staff, many of whom remain without power.”
- All youth and public sports activities on school grounds are suspended through Monday.
- Parent teacher conferences are canceled for Tuesday, Nov. 6 for all elementary schools.
