Cultural Alliance Of Fairfield County Serves Up Awards Breakfast In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County is holding its inaugural Arts & Culture Empowerment Awards (ACE) ceremony on May 19 in Norwalk.

The ACE Awards celebrate individuals, organizations, and businesses in Fairfield County who have made a significant contribution to the community through arts and culture, or who have enriched the arts and culture sector through volunteerism or patronage. 

Awards will be given in five categories: Artist, Citizen, Corporate, Educator and Nonprofit.

The keynote speaker will be Arthur Levitt, the 25th and longest serving Chairman of the SEC, with an introduction by Karen Brooks Hopkins, President Emeritus of the Brooklyn Academy of Music and current Senior Fellow in Residence at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. 

The mission of the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County, which is located in Norwalk, is to support cultural organizations, artists and creative businesses by providing promotion, services and advocacy. 

The ceremony will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Shore Country Club, 220 Gregory Blvd., Norwalk.
