Lisa Bardack, director of internal medicine, Mount Sinai Health System at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, called documents that claimed to be written by her citing health issues for Clinton “false,” while repeating a previous diagnosis that Clinton is “in excellent health" and fit to serve as president.

"As Secretary Clinton’s longtime physician, I released a medical statement during the campaign indicating that she is in excellent health," Bardack said in a statement released to factcheck.org. "I have recently been made aware of allegedly 'leaked' medical documents regarding Secretary Clinton with my name on them.

The fake medical documents, posted from a since deleted Twitter account, claimed Clinton said she showed signs of “advancing Subcortical Vascular Dementia” and “frequent Complex Partial Seizures" and that she also suffered from "uncontrollable" twitching and blacking out.

"These documents are false, were not written by me and are not based on any medical facts," Bardack said. "To reiterate what I said in my previous statement, Secretary Clinton is in excellent health and fit to serve as President of the United States.

Clinton's opponent, Republican nominee Donald Trump, has questioned the 68-year-old Clinton's health and stamina in several recent campaign appearances.

Jennifer Palmieri, communications director of the Clinton campaign, said in a statement that the 70-year-old Trump is trying to distract from his own refusal to release tax returns.

"Trump will clearly say or do anything to avoid the barrage of questions only his tax returns can answer: Whether he’s worth as much as he dubiously claims?" the statement said. "Whether his pro-Kremlin policies stem from financial conflicts of interest with Russian oligarchs? Or whether he actually gives as much as he says to charity?"

Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
