League Of Women Voters Hosts Forum For Bedford Town Board Candidates

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The candidates running for the vacant Bedford Town Board seat are set to participate in a League of Women Voters forum on Tuesday, March 1.

The League of Women Voters of Bedford-Lewisboro-North Salem is holding the event in the town house courtroom at 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills. The forum begins at 7 p.m. to accommodate the Town Board meeting that begins at 8 p.m. 

Candidates MaryAnn Carr and Luke Vander Linden will take questions from a league moderator; Carr and Vander Linden are running for the seat that was held by Francis Corcoran prior to his election to the county legislature. 

The special election is March 15. It will be available for viewing on the Town of Bedford’s website. It will also be shown on Optimum channel 18 and Verizon FiOS channel 1982 during the run-up to the election. 

The forum is free and open to the public.
