Somers Man Found Dead On Route 100

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A motorist on Route 100 found the body of a dead Somers man around 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, LoHud.com reported.

The man was found near the Muscoot Reservoir on the east side of the road. State Police shut down the road in both directions for 30 minutes in order to investigate, LoHud.com said.

Police believe the man died as a result of a medical condition, though an investigation continues to find out if he was hit by a car. Police will not release the man's name until family is notified, according to LoHud.com.
