Bedford Seeks Input to Comprehensive Plan Update

BEDFORD, N.Y. - The Town of Bedford is looking for public input as they work to update the Comprehensive Plan at an open meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21st.

The Comprehensive Plan, which describes the community’s current conditions and provides guidance for future growth and preservation, was last updated in 2013. 

Topics up for conversation at the meeting will include the following: 

  • Environment and Natural Resources
  • Town Services and Utilities
  • Commercial Development
  • Open Spaces and Undeveloped Land
  • Transportation
  • Housing Needs
  • Historic Preservation and Community Appearance
  • Parks, Recreation and Civic Spaces
  • Sustainability

All residents wishing to participate are invited to attend the meeting at the Bedford Hills Community House, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
