To the editor:
As a resident of Bedford Village, a parent of students who attended Bedford Central Schools and a former Board of Education member, I am writing in support of Justine Marous for the BCSD Board of Education. I have known and worked with Ms. Marous for a number of years most recently in her work with the Foundation for the Bedford Central Schools.
Besides being one of the founding members of the Foundation for the Bedford Central Schools, Marous is a 14-year resident of Pound Ridge, and has served on the BCSD Achievement Committee (2010-2013) and as Co-Chair of the Pound Ridge Elementary Community Outreach Committee (2009-2013).
Her background as a lawyer and as a businesswoman along with her commitment to educational excellence for all our students will be an asset both to our schools and to our community. I urge you to join me in voting for Justine Marous on Tuesday, May 19, at your local elementary school.
