KATONAH, N.Y. -- Pizza Luca will bring its wood-fired Neapolitan pizza to the John Jay Homestead Farm Market.
This Italian twist will be served from a mobile, wood-fired pizza oven mounted on a 1952 Chevy flatbed truck. Pizzas are made with fresh ingredients from Italy's Campania region and only take 90 seconds to cook thanks to the 900-degree oven, according to a press release. The fast-cooking technique allows for an authentic textured, thin crust.
A special truffle egg pie only will be available at the John Jay Market. To pre-order the pie, visit mkt.com/pizzalucanyc.
The John Jay Market also features fresh produce, artisanal pastries and candies, fresh seafood and meat, and more every Saturday through Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
