KATONAH, N.Y. -- Spiritual leaders in Katonah will be joining together to "create a spiritual center" and offer an "open, non-sectarian space to nurture the soul of our community" during a Spiritual Town Hall.
The event is set for 2-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at Katonah Community Hall, Katonah United Methodist Church, 44 Edgemont Road.
All who have an interest in spirituality and community are invited to the free event.
Organizers for the Town Hall said they envision a hub for films, poetry slams, lectures, meditation, yoga, panel discussions, local artwork, potlucks, music, presentations, dancing, support groups, community forums and storytelling.
Among the hamlet's leaders scheduled to participate are Douglass DeCandia, Melissa Boyer, Hans Hallundbaek, Deborah Moldow and Danny Martin.
An interactive group discussion is scheduled after all presenters have spoken. Paul Storder is to perform music at the event.
