Chappaqua Children's Book Festival Benefiting From Crabtree's Fundraiser

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- A Sparkling Evening fundraiser is planned to benefit the Chappaqua Children's Book Festival Tuesday, June 28 at Crabtree’s Kittle House Inn in Chappaqua.

The event will feature small bites, sparkling wine and a martini menu. The restaurant will be open for dinner and patrons can mention they are supporting the book festival. Thirty percent of the proceeds will benefit CCBF.

It is sponsored by the Amy Marie Crabtree Foundation, named for the wife of John Crabtree of Crabtree's Kittle House, who passed away from brain cancer four years ago.

The foundation raises funds to help charitable organizations that support her favorite causes, women, children, and helpless animals.

Entry to the fundraiser is free with food and drinks available for sale. Reservations are suggested by calling (914) 666-8044.

The fundraiser is set from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Inn, 11 Kittle Road, Chappaqua, N.Y.

The Chappaqua Children's Book Festival is Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bell Middle School, Chappaqua, N.Y.
