Purim, a celebration of Jewish deliverance, is traditionally observed by listening to the retelling of the story, sending food gifts to friends, giving charity to those less fortunate and eating a festive meal. "Year after year, Temple Shaaray Tefila continues to honor these traditions and bring them to the greater community in a modern, exciting, joy-filled event," according to a news release.

This year, festivities will feature international food trucks, global games, inflatables, cultural crafts, music, dancing and more. This year's fundraising event, "Purim Around the World" will feature a service and play at 10 a.m., followed by a carnival for all ages, beginning at 11 a.m.

Advance admission is $20 per child 3 and up, $25 at the door; parents are free. Buy advance tickets here.

The event also includes a raffle, with $10 tickets, for prizes ranging from Rangers or Knicks tickets, to a "Links & Drinks & Drinks" basket or an "I'm Worth It" pampering basket. See the list of raffle prizes here.
