In case others were curious, here are the details for the Relay for Life event.
Relay For Life of Yonkers: An overnight walk beginning today at 7 p.m. and running through Saturday, June 8 at 7 a.m. Lincoln High School, 375 Kneeland Ave.
Description of event courtesy of a reader: "There is a poetic reason for the event being an overnight one. The sunset represents the person's diagnosis. The middle of the night represents the worst part of the cancer patient's illness. The sunrise represents the patient's remission or hope of remission."
