Moretti Wins Section 1 Diving Title

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale diver Evan Moretti secured his first-ever Section 1 title at Purchase College by beating out a field of 22 divers with a score of 485.7, according to LoHud.com.

Moretti boasted one of the hardest dive programs that included two dives that were rated at a 3.0 out of 4.0 in difficulty, LoHud.com reported.

Moretti's score qualified him for both the state and Federation championships, Lohud.com said.
