TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A diehard Yankee fan will be attending Tuesday's Midsummer Classic, all thanks to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.
Benjamin Koch, 14, suffers from adrenoleukodystrophy, which attacks the neurons in the brain, though it hasn't kept him from being a fixture at Yankee Stadium or watching other baseball stars.
Koch told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that he wanted to see all of his favorite baseball stars gathered in one place on the field.
He was granted the wish at the Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley Wish Ball in Tarrytown back in May by Manfred himself. The dinner was honoring Manfred for his work with Make-A-Wish.
