John Jay beat Sleepy Hollow in the quarterfinals, before ending its season against Eastchester.
Jimmy Clark, in his 15th season as head coach, said that while the Indians lost players to graduation, numbers are up, and so is enthusiasm.
"We're young, and we have numbers for the first time in a while," Clark told Daily Voice during a visit to Indians training camp. "Right now, we're growing, and getting better every day."

John Jay is set to open the 2016 season Friday, Sept. 2, hosting Yorktown at 7 p.m.
