KATONAH, N.Y. -- Harvey School senior Keith Lambert became the first player in school history to surpass 100 points for a hockey season when he had three goals and four assists Monday in an 8-3 win versus Forman.
Lambert, from Cortlandt Manor, has 105 points on the season. The Cavaliers finished the regular season 14-7 and now turn their attention to the Fairchester Athletic Association semi-finals. Harvey visits St. Luke's of New Canaan, Conn. Thursday. Harvey has defeated St. Luke's twice this season.
Lambert got his 100th point when he assisted on a goal by Connor Wilson. The third member of Harvey’s extraordinary first line, junior Theo Rattner of Waccabuc, had two goals while senior Anthony Rusciano and junior Drew Homola each chipped in with a goal.
Lambert has collected a point in every game this season and has scored a goal in every game except one. He now has 54 goals and 51 assists.
“If you had told me before the season started that Keith would have this kind of a season, I would have said you're crazy,'' coach Alex Morse said. “Keith’s season is so remarkable that I don’t expect to see anyone else do this in my lifetime.”
