Harvey Boys Basketball Defeats League Rival South Kent

KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Harvey School's varsity boys basketball team defeated South Kent School 55-38 Wednesday in the first league game for Harvey.

Harvey was efficient on offense as three of its players scored in double digits.

The Cavaliers controlled the tempo throughout, taking a 20-point lead into halftime. The Cardinals made a run early in the second half cutting the lead to 10, but that was the closest they would get on the afternoon.

Harvey coach Dom Narcisco liked what he saw from his team on offense.

“We showed good chemistry by sharing the ball and finding the open man," he said.

Senior Jake Cohn was Harvey’s leading performer with 16 points and seven assists, including going seven for seven from the free throw line. Junior guard Ricky Hicks contributed 11 points. Junior Sacha Kantor chipped in with 10. Senior Deshawn Hilliard owned the boards, collecting 11 rebounds. Joel Garcia led South Kent in scoring with 16 points.

Harvey, 2-1 on the young season, travels to the New York Military Academy Friday to play the Knights.
