Katonah-Lewisboro Offers Packets For Board Candidates

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. – The Katonah-Lewisboro Board of Education has begun offering packets for interested candidates aiming to take part in the board election on May 19.

The packets are at the district office and can be obtained from District Clerk Kimberly Monzon during office hours, which are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The election will be for two trustee vacancies, and both terms will be for three years.

There will be a workshop for potential candidates hosted by the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association on Thursday, April 9. Details on the workshop will be included in the packets.

The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, April 20, at 5 p.m. All interested should file a petition with Monzon.

The district office is at 1 Shady Lane in South Salem.
