KATONAH, N.Y. -- Katonah Elementary School held a special assembly to help end the first week of the new school year with a bang.
Assistant Principal Terry Costin and fifth-grade students lead the school in the Pledge of Allegiance.

During the assembly fifth-grade students were called upon to be positive role models for the younger members of the student body.
The assembly concluded with the unveiling of a special banner commemorating the school’s 75th year.
