Byram Hills School Budget Vote Set For Tuesday

ARMONK, N.Y. – Adult residents in the Byram Hills Central School District will have the opportunity Tuesday to vote on the 2015-16 school operating budget.

The proposed budget is nearly $88.7 million, which is a 1.1 percent increase from the 2014-15 school budget, according to a report issued by the Byram Hills Central School District.

The budget would require a 1.8 percent tax increase.

Scott Levy and Mike Sanders also are running unopposed for two seats on the Board of Education to fill the spots currently held by Leslie Cziner Blum and Ann Tedesco.

Voting will be from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at H.C. Crittenden Middle School, 10 MacDonald Ave., Armonk.

Copies of the proposed 2015-16 budget are available at the Byram Hills Central School District website, all four schools, the school district office and the North Castle Public Library.
