Bedford School Foundation Presents Fundraiser To Enhance Learning

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Foundation for Bedford Central Schools, which is created to enhance extraordinary learning opportunities for the students of schools within the district, is having its first fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at GlenArbor Golf Club.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will support the continuation and expansion of current programs and enable new initiatives:

Develop technology-enhanced learning at FLHS.
Matching funds to purchase additional VEX Robotics Kits, reducing working group size from four to two students and expand to include eighth grade.
Expand WPES school-wide enrichment pilot to the other elementary schools.

Magician Benjamin Levy will be volunteering his magic skills. He recently performed at a private 50th party at the White House, not to mention innumerable fortune 500 corporate events.
