Bedford School District Plans Annual Elementary Bike Run

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Central School District will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Bedford BikeRun on Sunday, May 17.

All past BikeRuns, including this photo from 2013, have been successful.

The BikeRun will run from 8 a.m.-noon at the Fox Lane High School campus. The BikeRun is a way for all five school districts to come together and celebrate physical fitness and exercise. The five school districts include Bedford Hills, Bedford Village, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge and West Patent.

This year, the BikeRun will add a special recognition for the student-athletes who have participated in all five BikeRuns (2011-15). There will also be new custom race bibs with first, last or nicknames for race day.

Mandatory registration pickup is Saturday, May 16, from 8-10 a.m. at the entrance to Fox Lane Middle School. Pickup includes race bib, T-shirt, bike labels, other registration materials and a gift.
