BEDFORD, N.Y. – Schools in the Bedford Central School District will be closed Friday in anticipation of Winter Storm Nemo, district officials announced around 8:20 p.m. Thursday .

The National Weather Service has predicted the storm will hit the Westchester area on Friday and develop into blizzard conditions that night, continuing into Saturday.
