The public gathering is scheduled to be on Thursday, Sept. 24 (today), at 3:45 p.m., Bedford Central Schools Superintendent Jere Hochman wrote in an email newsletter. The gathering will be held at Fox Lane High School's cafeteria, Hochman added.

"We are sixty square miles that is somewhat a microcosm of the country," Hochman wrote about Bedford Central's composition. "Hopefully with common ground of aspiring for the academic success and sense of belonging of every student; can we - and should we - re-engage our discussion to be this one school community?"

The superintendent concluded, "At minimum, it's always good to get together!"
