Bridgeport Police Question Corrections Officer In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Bridgeport Police say a corrections officer is being questioned about a hit-and-run collision at Boston Avenue that killed a Bridgeport woman and injured her son on Dec. 4, the Connecticut Post reports.

Police had released surveillance footage showing a BMW X3 SUV making contact several times with the Subaru driven by Evelyn Agyei, 51, on Boston Avenue during the morning of Dec. 4, according to the report. The collision caused Agyei to loose control of her vehicle before crashing into a tree, according to the report.

Police say the unidentified corrections officer is the owner of a BMW X3 SUV, which has been seized, according to the report.
