Mansy was born March 24, 1936, in Biddeford, Maine, to Fabien and Celina (Jalbert) Provencal.
She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1954. She worked for Electric Regulator, M.F. DiScala and finally finished her working career at The Norwalk Town Clerks Office at City Hall. She was a catechist and member of the Women’s Guild at St. Mary Church, a volunteer for The Red Cross, a member of New Horizons and most recently a currency engineer at St. Matthews Church, as well as a member of The Evening Women’s Club of Norwalk.
Mansy is survived by her husband, Thomas Mansy; son, David Mansy; daughter, Lisa (Tom) Dardis; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 at St. Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
