Chacon, a Westchester County native, advises buyers, sellers and renters in Katonah and the surrounding Westchester County area. “Peggy is extremely business savvy and has been responsible for establishing and marketing a successful local company,” said Roselyn Harburger, Brokerage Manager of Houlihan Lawrence’s Katonah office. “We are confident she will bring her signature dedication and care to producing the same results for her clients.” Since founding the Westchester Environmental Tree Service in 1994, Ms. Chacon continues to serve as the company’s CEO and has vast local knowledge of the communities she works within. Leveraging her entrepreneurial experience, Chacon was drawn to the real estate industry after working closely with other realtors through her tree service.

While solving clients’ property issues alongside agents, Chacon was able to observe their real estate dealings and transactions and found a new passion. She also had previously bought and sold several of her own properties and wanted to aid and advise others in beneficial investments. Chacon also gained extensive corporate, management and financial experience in her previous roles as a business manager and financial analyst for Cablevision News 12 Westchester, as well as an accountant for several years before that. Her years spent managing budgets, financial planning and advising on investments, coupled with Houlihan Lawrence’s superior market data, allows her to provide clients with the information and advice they need to make sound real estate decisions. Having used Houlihan Lawrence for her personal real estate ventures, Chacon knew the brokerage would provide the support and professional environment she was seeking when entering the real estate industry.

Chacon is involved in the International Society of Arboriculture and an Alzheimer’s organization. Originally from Rye Neck, Chacon currently lives in Carmel.
