Westchester Native Helps Donald Trump Manage His Presidential Campaign

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- In another nod to the Hudson Valley's links to national politics, a Dutchess County man and Yorktown High School graduate has been helping guide one presidential hopeful’s campaign.

Hopewell Junction resident Dan Scavino is constantly at Donald Trump's side, helping the Republican presidential hopeful manage his social media messages.

Dan Scavino, a Hopewell Junction resident and senior adviser for Republican candidate Donald Trump, was the subject of a Poughkeepsie Journal feature.

Scavino has traveled to rallies all over the country with Trump, managing his social media messages, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal story.

Trump has an estate in Bedford in Westchester and owns a golf club in Hopewell Junction in Dutchess. He was endorsed in Iowa on Tuesday by Sarah Palin, the former governor of Alaska and 2008 vice presidential candidate, according to media reports.
