NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has renewed his interest in a bid for the White House, according to the New York Times.

Bloomberg, who owns an estate in North Salem, is unhappy with the front-runners in both parties, Democrat Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua and Republican Donald Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford, and is considering running as an independent, the Times reports.

Bloomberg will decide on whether or not to run by early March, the Times reports.
