WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y.  -- Former New York Gov. George Pataki has called out New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for failing to offer up proper support to Republican candidate Rob Astorino, according to the New York Daily News.

The Peekskill native said he was disappointed in Christie, especially in light of the development that Gov. Andrew Cuomo is facing corruption allegations after disbanding the Moreland Commission, the Daily News reported.

Christie created waves when he was quoted as calling Astorino's campaign "a lost cause."

Pataki didn't stop at Christie, either. He voiced his displeasure with other Republicans like Alfonse D'Amato and Rudy Giuliani for either not supporting Astorino, or remaining silent, the Daily News said.

How does one describe Christie, D'Amato, Guilani, and the other numerous flacks:

SELF SERVING - ON THE POLITICAL DOLE - WILLING TO SAY ANYTHING THAT WILL FURTHER THEIR PERSONAL HACK CAREERS - BECOME LAVISH SPENDERS WITH YOUR MONEY - etc, etc..

Kudos to Pataki. He rightly called out Giuliani, the creepy D'Amato (who gave us the leftist Gillebrand by the way) and the odious Christie. These guys are lousy weasels for doing what they are doing. It's all about power with these guys. If Rob wins, Rob will be the #1 GOP guy in NY...and they are having none of that.

@cjmesq - EXACTLY! Bunch of gutless clowns. FAT clown for Christie, even with his weight loss. He'll say and do ANY-thing to stay in office, except support GOP candidates.

Pleased to see our former esteemed governor coming out to criticize Mr. Christie for his lack of support of Mr. Astorino. Fortitude.

Whereas: Displeased to see Mr. Romney accepting an invitation to attend Mr. Christie's birthday party in early September? Spineless...

Memo to Mr. Astorino: Stay focused - you have more than what it take to win the governorship -- integrity, ethics and, most importantly, a spine.
