Cuomo Says Christie Didn't Advise Westchester's Astorino For Gov

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told reporters that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie refuted reports that he advised Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino to run against Cuomo next year, according to the Democrat and Chronicle.

The Gannett Albany Bureau did report that Astorino and Christie had a closed door meeting with their wives in Arizona recently. Cuomo says that Christie did not advise Astorino to run against him in the 2014 Gubernatorial race, the Democrat and Chronicle said.
