President Donald Trump, who owns a significant amount of Hudson Valley real estate , might want to take a few extra seconds before he clicks "tweet." Especially late at night.
What do you think President Donald Trump meant to say when he wrote "covfefe"
Or actually, early -- very early -- in the morning.
At 12:06 a.m., Wednesday, the president tweeted "Despite the negative press covfefe."
The tweet remained up for six hours and a new internet meme was born. At 7:09 a.m., Trump tweeted "Who can figure out the true meaning of "covfefe" ??? Enjoy!"
That tweet was retweeted by Dan Scavino, White House Director of Social Media and Assistant to the President. Scavino, who was general manager of Trump National in Briarcliff, graduated Yorktown High School and lives in Hopewell Junction.
By 7:37 a.m, things seemed to be back to normal on Trump's twitter with him urging Republicans to pass a health care bill, accusing Democrats of a witchhunt on their Russia investigation and teasing his decision on whether the United States will pull out of the Paris Accords.
He also lashed out at Kathy Griffin for doing a photoshoot in which she posed with a graphic model depicting Trump's decapitated head.
"Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself," Trump tweeted. "My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!"
Trump owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. He also owns the Seven Springs Estate in Bedford. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
