Court Rules Cuomo Primary Opponent Teachout Will Stay On Ballot

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A state judge ruled that Gov. Andrew Cuomo's primary opponent, Zephyr Teachout would be allowed to remain on the ballot on Monday, according to the Westchester County Business Journal. 

Cuomo's camp claimed that Teachout hadn't lived the required five years in New York State in order to run for governor. The judge, however stated that Teachout provided adequate proof of her residency in the Empire State, WCBJ reported.
