Woman Struck And Killed By Car In Bedford

BEDFORD, N.Y. — A woman was fatally injured Friday night when she was struck by a car shortly before 8 p.m. in front of Truck restaurant at 391 Old Post Road, Route 121, in Bedford, police said.  

The 49-year-old victim, who has not been identified by police, was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Officials said an autopsy was planned. Police would not release any further details, except to say their investigation into the incident was continuing.
