Arraigned in the Harrison court and sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, she also was charged with resisting arrest, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and numerous traffic infractions, police said.

State police received a call about a vehicle traveling northbound on its rims on Interstate 684 in the Town of Harrison at 2 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle struck the guide rail numerous times and punctured its tire, according to troopers, who stopped the vehicle.

Villanueva became irate, state police said, after she was secured in a state police vehicle.

When she began kicking the vehicle’s interior, police said, they attempted to restrain her. She reportedly kicked a trooper in the face with her high-heel shoe, causing serious injury to the trooper's eye.

After being subdued, she was processed at the State Police's Somers Barracks and provided a positive breath sample of .16 percent, twice the legal limit, police said.
