Two boys, 16 and 17, were charged with third degree criminal mischief after an investigation revealed they started a fire on Oct. 29 in the skating area at the Community Center on Westbrook Drive, officials said. The fire resulted in a response from the fire department and more than $1,000.00 in damage, according to State Police.
The teens were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Town of Cortlandt Court on Nov. 15, State Police said.
