Teens Charged With Shooting Paint Balls At Cars In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Yorktown police arrested two Jefferson Valley teenagers and a Mohegan Lake teen Monday for shooting paintballs at cars traveling on East Main Street near Old Jefferson Valley Road, according to Yorktown police.

The three male teens, whose names are being withheld due to youthful offender status, allegedly were firing paint balls at cars from the nearby wood line, and one vehicle suffered more than $250 worth of damage from a paintball, authorities said.

A 17-year-old male was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and is due in Yorktown Justice Court Thursday, July 9. The two 15-year-old males were charged with juvenile delinquency, with an underlying charge of criminal mischief in the third degree, and are scheduled to appear in Westchester County Department of Probation Tuesday, June 23, police said.
