Somers Woman Arrested For Endangering Welfare Of A Child

SOMERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a Somers woman and charged her with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment, on Sunday, Dec. 1, police officials said. 

Patricia Tompkins is accused of endangering the mental, moral and physical well-being of her daughter's, ages 10 years old and seven months, as well as striking their father, State Police said. 

Tompkins was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and orders of protection were issued for the children and their father, according to State Police.
