A second suspect who fled after a traffic stop was caught in a cemetery off of Lexington Avenue at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night following an hours-long search, police said.

The heist occurred at around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday at Wilson & Son Jewelers, a store located at 29 S. Moger Ave. A man, who went into the store posing as a customer, asked to see watches before snatching them, police perviously said. The man fled from the store, went across the street and got into a getaway vehicle; police said that witnesses described it as a Lincoln Navigator that was either gold or green.

In Friday's announcement, police noted that a county officer, Scott Forsythe, saw a vehicle matching the description driving on Route 133 by Manchester Drive. Forsythe pulled the vehicle over and detained the driver, while the passenger (the second suspect) fled, which in turn triggered the search.

"County police utilized patrol officers, detectives, canines and the Aviation Unit helicopter during the search for the second suspect," police added in a statement.

The suspect in the heist itself is Thomas Curry, a 28-year-old Staten Island man, while the alleged accomplice is Joseph Mason, a 25-year-old man who is also from Staten island.

Curry was charged with second-degree grand larceny, which is a felony, police said, adding that he was sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $20,000 in bail. His court date in Mount Kisco Justice Court, police said, is on Aug. 4.

Mason was charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation, which is a misdemeanor, according to police. His arraignment will be done at a later date, police said.

Wilson & Son, which has operated in downtown Mount Kisco for several years, is planning to close its store; it is currently selling inventory for up to 80 percent off.
