Officers were dispatched to the Mount Kisco Public Library on East Main Street shortly before 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, where there were reports of an unwanted party who refused to leave the building.

According to police, library staff said the man had continually violated the library’s code of conduct - the nature of the violations was not immediately available - and was given a formal notice from police, barring him from the building.

If the man is to return to the library and violate the code of conduct again, police said that the man could be charged with trespassing.
