On Tuesday, April 4, police completed a short-term investigation into Spa 114, which resulted in the arrest of three suspects for “knowingly and unlawfully purporting themselves as licensed massage therapists without having requisite state licenses.”

Queens residents Gye Shun Han, 50 and Bongok Gu, 48, as well as 35-year-old Ridgefield, N.J. resident Yanyi Dong were arrested and charged with unlawful practice of a profession. Dong was additionally charged with prostitution after allegedly offering to engage in sexual conduct with an undercover police officer, according to the Greenburgh Police Department.

All three suspects were booked, processed and released on their own recognizance. Spa 114 was temporarily closed by officers. Police said the Greenburgh Building Department has been notified and scheduled a follow-up for Wednesday, April 5.
