Four-Car Crash In Bedford Closes Route 22; Two Injured

BEDFORD, N.Y. -- Two men were injured in a four-car accident on Route 22 Wednesday morning, according to Bedford police.

Police closed Cantitoe Street between Hook Road and Clinton Road for close to four hours after the initial accident report around 6:40 a.m.

The injured men were taken to Westchester Medical Center, and police were able to re-open the section of Route 22 around 10:30 a.m.

The investigation into the accident continues, police said. Information about the extent of the men's injuries has not been released at this time.
