Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to a West Main Street home where there were reports of a domestic incident shortly before 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, polices spokesman Kieran O’Leary said on Friday.

Upon arrival, police determined that there had been a family dispute, and Michael Santini had injured two families members during the incident. When officers attempted to arrest him, O’Leary said that he resisted, and responding officers had to use a taser to subdue the suspect.

O’Leary said that Santini was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital as a precaution after the incident. His two victims were transported to Westchester County Medical Center for treatment of the injuries suffered during the dispute.

Santini was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief for the damage done to the home during the dispute, all felonies. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.

Following his arraignment on Thursday, Santini posted $500 bail and was released. He is due back in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
