Bedford Police Look For People Who Threw Object At Moving Bus

BEDFORD, N.Y. - The Bedford Police Department is trying to find out who threw a balloon filled with an unknown object out of a moving car and into the windshield of a school bus last week.

At about 2:50 p.m. Friday on Bedford Center Road near Bisbee Lane, the occupants of a dark colored car headed east on Bedford Center Road threw what appeared to be a green balloon filled with something at a bus travelling in the opposite direction. The balloon shattered the windshield of the bus.

The bus driver and passengers were uninjured.
