Bedford Hills Woman Charged With Unlawfully Collecting Unemployment

BEDFORD HILLS, N.Y. -- A Bedford Hills woman was charged with illegally collecting unemployment by New York State Police on Friday, according to officials.

Sharonda Service, 28, was accused of collecting more than $10,000 in unemployment benefits between April and November 2012 while she was gainfully employed, police said.

Service is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 5, police said.
