BEDFORD, N.Y. — Manuel Antonio Fuentes, 33, allegedly got into a fight with his wife at his home on Babbitt Road on Monday, July 2, and police have charged him with second-degree assault.
Officers arrived at the Bedford Hills residence at 11:05 p.m. after receiving an anonymous report of a disturbance, police said.
Mount Kisco police were called to assist with translation because the wife, 30, primarily spoke Spanish. A glass coffee table was broken during the altercation between Fuentes and his wife, police said.
Fuentes was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous instrument, a felony; and two misdemeanors, obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and fourth-degree criminal mischief with the intent to damage property.
He was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Bedford Town Court.

Domestic Assault: Anthony V. Digiacomo, 30, of Katonah was charged with two counts of assault after allegedly getting into a fight with his girlfriend, 29, also a Katonah resident. On Sunday, July 1, police received a call at 12:45 a.m. from a neighbor reporting a disturbance at an apartment on Harris Road. When officers arrived, they questioned people who had gathered on the street and learned that the person of interest had left the area. Digiacomo was arrested at 364 Kennicut Hill Road, Mahopac, and charged with two counts of third-degree assault with intent of physical injury, a misdemeanor; and attempting to disable equipment to prevent an emergency call, also a misdemeanor. He was released on $250 bail and is due Thursday in Bedford Town Court.
