To the editor:
Justine Marous is an outstanding candidate for the Bedford Central School District Board of Education, and I strongly encourage all to vote for her on Tuesday, May 19 (7 a.m.-9 p.m. at your local elementary school).
It is essential to the health of our schools and our community. Justine is a measured, respectful, professional, extremely accomplished, highly educated and well-informed candidate who deeply values the education of all our children and cares profoundly about our vibrant, diverse and successful school community.
An attorney and parent, Justine is a 14-year resident of Pound Ridge, a founding board member of the Foundation for Bedford Central Schools and has served on the BCSD Achievement Committee (2010-13) and as co-chair of the Pound Ridge Elementary Community Outreach Committee (2009-13). She will lead our school district capably as it maintains the right balance between fiscal responsibility and the pursuit of educational excellence for each and every child. Justine will make a strong addition to our School Board.
