We extend our sincere gratitude to Lee Roberts for her exemplary service as Bedford Town Supervisor.  And we could not agree more with her endorsement of Don Scott as her successor. Don embodies the qualities and has the experience we believe are needed in an effective town supervisor.

We seek a good steward of the environment and our wallets. With his experience as Wetlands Commissioner and his endorsement from the Westchester League of Conservation Voters, Don will preserve and protect the beautiful character of Bedford.  Don has been a life long fiscal conservative while consistently demonstrating sensitivity to people and meeting the needs of the community. As former President of the Katonah Lewisboro School District and as owner of his own business, Don has demonstrated strong leadership, management and executive ability.  During his tenure on the BOE, and in his numerous civic involvements, time and again Don has shown to be an effective leader, listener and collaborator. Finally Don is approachable, affable and articulate. He has done his homework, is knowledgeable about the issues and has a practical approach to problem solving along with a great sense of humor. These traits were revealed in his closing remarks at the League of Women Voters forum, "vote for me and you get both of us;" Chris Burdick finishes his term on the town board, and Bedford gets a great new Supervisor, Don Scott.
